The Shepherds Hotel, Cockermouth
Providing the unusual combination of being both a luxurious high quality, modern hotel, and also home to the renowned Lakeland Sheep & Wool Centre, the family-run Shepherds Hotel in Cumbria offers a relaxing get-away at the western edge of the Lake District, and is also within easy reach of the west coast. Proprietors Roy and Liz Campbell were looking to commission a new website specifically for the hotel, promoting not only the quality, comfort and and facilities of the accommodation but the beauty of the local landscape and nearby attractions and destinations.

Arklemoor Riding Centre, near Reeth
Situated just outside of Reeth in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, Arklemoor Riding Centre provides everything from lessons to days out riding across the hills and dales, all in the peace and quiet of the countryside and far away from traffic and busy roads. Catering for new and experienced riders alike, owner Jane Baker is a fully qualified BET Ride Leader and trainer, and asked us to help promote her centre by designing a new website to showcase some of the excellent facilities they have there.

McMenamins, Maryport
Having recently completed a major refurbishment, the stylish and modern McMenamins Restaurant in Maryport Cumbria was also looking for a revamp for their website, to match their updated image. Proprietor Matthew Todd approached us to help develop a new site complimenting the look and feel of the restaurant, and to provide a simple content management system to allow him to maintain and update the website himself once it went live.

The Wheatsheaf Inn, Carperby
The Wheatsheaf in Wensleydale is a former coaching inn nestled in the Yorkshire Dales, not far from both Aysgarth Falls and Bolton Castle. Dating back as far as the 1800s, this traditional family-run Dales inn has provided a warm welcome and excellent food for hundreds of years, and in its time seen a few famous faces as well! Thanks to a local government funding initiative providing the proprietors Paul and Carol Mitchell with the opportunity to update, we were asked to carry out the re-development of the Wheatsheaf's website, and among other things provide wireless networking facilities to guests. In addition, we helped source a content management system for Paul and Carol to take over maintenance of the website themselves, provided training, and will be assisting them in the implementation of an online booking system shortly.

Derbyshire County Council, Matlock
Following the continued success of the Derbyshire Food & Drink Fair and Festivals, the date and venue were set once again for 2007. As we had maintained and updated the website promoting the 2006 event, Derbyshire Council once again approached us to manage the site for 2007, this time also to include a revamp of the branding and colour schemes, and new features to be included on the site.

Institute of Horticulture, Northern Branch
The Institute of Horticulture is the authoritative organisation representing all those professionally engaged in Horticulture in the UK & Ireland. Each region of the country is represented by its own branch, and after speaking with a local member of the Northern Branch about some of the issues they were having keeping in touch with members and sharing important information, we suggested the design and development of a website that would help collate and provide means of distribution this information, and improve member-networking across the region.

Dinmore Cottages, Harrogate
Dinmore Cottages, based in Burnt Yates near Harrogate, is a small but prestigious collection of 4 star self-catering cottages on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. They had originally begun a process of renovating and replacing their old website, but the project had stalled some months before and needed taking over and rejuvenating. We helped re-establish hosting for their website and completed the website redesign, updating the site and adding in several new features to help modernise it and provide additional functionality, including online availability requests.

York Hospitality Association, York
The York Hospitality Association is a trade organisation for accommodation providers, caterers, attractions and all tourism businesses throughout York and the region. They came to us via an initial contact through Strategic Tourism, looking for some training to help develop their in-house website design skills. From there we have provided a number of very successful one-to-one training sessions in Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Flash, enabling them to become much more self-sufficient.

Cayton Village Caravan Park, Scarborough
Cayton Village Caravan Park is a successful and modern caravan park based near Cayton Bay, not far from Scarborough. We were initially approached to assist them in carrying out some amendments to their website and subsequently to help resolve some in-house IT problems with some of their office PCs. Since then they have signed up to one of our IT support contracts and we have been happy to provide assistance in many areas; from email and internet access problems, to the installation and configuration of a complete replacement office PC system.

Cavendish Hotel, Scarborough
Introduced to us through an early contract
with Strategic Tourism Ltd, this warm and friendly guest
house in Scarborough was seeking advice and assistance in
registering and configuring a domain name to help promote
their business. Since then we have provided IT support in
many areas, from software installation and training to PC
upgrades, and are pleased to provide them with an ongoing support contract. We also helped them upgrade to broadband for internet and email access, and have since designed and developed their new website for them.

Ash Hining Farm, Sedbergh
Built around 1600, Ash Hining Farm is based in an attractive location between the Dales and the Howgills, consisting of two self-catering cottages and a farmhouse providing B&B for groups of up to six people. We were initially approached by Strategic Tourism to assist with the redesign and development of a website for Ash Hining Farm, and since the initial site went live we have been working with the owners to add new content and update existing when appropriate.

our parent company, we continue to provide in-house support
and development for Railcraft, from the management of office
and CAD workstations, the administration of the servers
and domains, to the maintenance and content renewal of
the Railcraft website. With the many unique and innovative
