More websites in the pipeline
(Posted Tuesday 11th September 2007, 6:32pm)

Following on from the previous batch of web work, we are now currently working on a website for a bed & breakfast in York, and an accommodation search website for another York based client.

We are also working on a new website for Samlesbury Hall in Lancashire, near to Preston. As well as an update to the styling and design of the site we are also looking into the possibility of proving some exciting new features - not least of which being the provision of a web-accessible 'GhostCam', Samlesbury Hall having the reputation of being one of the most haunted buildings in Britain!

Spooky!

Updates to the website at last!!
(Posted Tuesday 11th September 2007, 6:28pm)

Well it has taken me long enough to get around to it, but I have finally updated the website and added in some of our most recent projects, as well as rearranging some of the pages a little to make them easier to navigate and find relevant information!

The HSAP (Harrogate St Andrews Players) website is now live, and though still a work-in-progress should be taking shape nicely over the next month or so as content is added in.

Four recently completed large projects include websites for The Wheatsheaf in Carperby, Arklemoor Riding Centre near Reeth, The Shepherds Hotel in Cockermouth and McMenamins Restaurant in Maryport - details of which can be read on the 'Recent Projects' page.

More news shortly!

A flair for the dramatic...
(Posted Friday 23rd February 2007, 3:18pm)

As one of his external interests and hobbies, Taurus IT founder Richard Burnley also assists with local amateur dramatics society 'Harrogate St Andews Players' (HSAP), based in Harrogate. We were therefore delighted when we were approached by HSAP to help design and develop a new website to showcase the works and productions of the group, and to help promote and advertise shows currently underway.

The site is currently still in development, but updates should be available soon - check back frequently!

Now offering IT Support contracts!
(Posted Monday 29th January 2007, 3:09pm)

In response to requests from several of our customers, we are now offering some of our clients IT Support contracts to provide additional and cost effective assistance, along with peace of mind knowing that they have a point of contact should anything go wrong.

Initial schemes are being trialled in a small number of smaller companies across the region, starting at £150 for six months of cover, providing telephone and email support. Any problems arising that cannot be solved remotely are subject to a fixed call-out fee of £100 per visit.

Should this scheme prove popular enough and cost effective, we will be expanding upon the concept and providing a wider range of services along these lines. Please check back frequently for updates.

New projects in the pipeline!
(Posted Monday 30th October 2006, 11:23am)

Two new website development projects are currently underway, and nearing completion. One for a large paintballing and outdoor laser combat centre involved developing an eyecatching new layout and interface, providing new facilities to users such as an image gallery, a members forum and downloadable documentation and posters for fans.

The second site, for a 4 star family-run guest house in a seaside resort needed to reflect the values and traditions upheld by the proprietors and present a warm and inviting online resource for visitors to find out more about the establishment.

Check back soon for more progress updates!

Latest News Section now uses Blogs!
(Posted Monday 11th September 2006, 3:28pm)

In an experimental move, the Latest News section has recently been overhauled to use an RSS feed from a Blog site rather than using static HTML.

In essence, this means that the news section should be even easier to update and maintain, and changes should become live almost instantly.

Lets hope this is the start of good things to come!
